Health Science CORE has an added competency under 5.0 Safety that reads:
05.08 Discuss JCAHO patient safety goals. Here is The Joint Commission (formerly JCAHO) website: http://www.jointcommission.org/
Look at the drop down menu under Patient Safety, then under National Patient Safety goals there is a nice PowerPoint. This website is a great resource and is a major source of our Medical Errors information.

I attached a link to a great site that includes many powerpoint templates. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will find lots of cool games and templates:)It is on the home page.

Thanks, Diane! I hope we get the rest of the faculty interacting on this website. I had fun editing this morning and sprucing up the website. I added a page for PN and we can create pages specific to each program. We can develop this into quite a colloborative site:)

Can we embed upstreaming video in our PowerPoint? Certainly we can link to website. Diane used an upstreaming video on Headaches and said it was excellent:)
